Man…. You had so much to eat this year. Despite a rough year, you couldn’t wait to get back to your family and enjoy a good home cook meal. Lucky you if you are not hosting Thanksgiving this year! You get to grab your to-go plate and disappear. However, if you hosted Thanksgiving, here are 3 clever ways to share your left overs.

1. Disposable Muffin Tins

You can order a tons of those on amazon and set up a little to-go section in your dining area for your guests to grab and go. The good thing about them is that they are already portioned for a scoop of everything your guests would like to take home. We found this video on TikTok from @brunchwithbabs and it is a genius hack! Check it out!

2. To Go Containers

These are more sophisticated, but as a host, will definitely set you apart from everyone else throwing Thanksgiving dinners! You can find them on amazon or Etsy. I highly recommend Etsy since you will (most likely) be supporting a small business owner or stay at home worker. Check it out below.

3. Glass Bowls

If you still have leftovers after everyone took a to-go plate, you next best option is to save everything in a glass bowl. According to Lindsay Malone, RD, of Cleveland Clinic, most food will last about three to four days in the fridge, but that only holds true if it’s packed up right. “You want to make sure you’re packing it into air-tight, shallow containers, and bringing it back to room temperature before you’re putting it away.”

Crate and barrel has a great selection of glass bowls with lids. You can order yours here.

Bonus Hack!

If a little wine is left in the bottle, try freezing it in ½ cup servings so that the next time a recipe calls for wine, you won’t have to look for your corkscrew.
