You heard Right! Instagram rolled out its live scheduling and we are surprisingly excited about it! We know, we know… Facebook is under the weather lately, nonetheless they have been doing some pretty spectacular updates on their own to compete with Youtube and TikTok. Youtube had already started the scheduled trend, now instagram is hopping on the band wagon, who knows maybe TikTok is next!

With this new features, digital content creators, artists as well as businesses will be able to schedule their live up to 90 days in advance, and according to Ig, scheduling lives will help boost page discoveries while building anticipation with their reminders and countdown. Neat right! You can spend a whole month raising awareness in and advertise the crap out of your upcoming Iive before it airs haha.

They even added a “practice mode” for you and your joint guests to practice before going live. So you are not struggling while your viewers are watching. You get to do all your checks, lighting etc ahead of time with a tester. So if you love going live, these new features will make your life 10 times easier.
