It is always a pleasure having you back as a HOL Alumni, K’bana. You have been doing a lot of great work, and I’d love to share it with our readers and viewers on my blog.

For those not familiar with your work (which I doubt are out there, we post you consistently on our Instagram page), haha!

To be honest, that question is ever-evolving with each year that goes by. I am starting to understand the power of risk and the benefits of faith. I realize my passion promotes my creativity, which to me is ultimately who K’bana Blaq is…

You model, act, write and also sing. You had the opportunity to perform live for Live Nation, Congratulations what a fantastic option. Tell me, how did it all happen, and how did you feel performing.

It happened so fast, and I was so grateful to my band leader from the Fuzz Band and Dee Larion from Live Nation for taking the time to make it happen. It indeed was just receiving a call and saying yes. So I snapped out of shock and had a week to get it together, and with the virus, things have been quite intense, but Lu Chay and Percy, aka P.T., my fellow musicians, made it happen. That evening felt so good, and I am forever grateful to Live Nation.

I know this is not your first time performing, and you’re a natural on stage. Any other performances coming up we should know about?

Since the world has been hit with COVID 19, all gigs have been canceled. As a full-time artist, it has been very tricky to maintain, which takes me back to the first question, passion will not allow me to quit. So I am preparing creative new platforms for my art to stay before my tribe.

I am sure your family and friends are thrilled to support your journey! Have you encountered any difficulties along your road to being a successful performer/artist?

Too many to count, and all I can say is, “Be so great they cannot deny you…Periodt” lol!

Where can our readers and viewers find you besides Instagram?

K’bana Blaq on Facebook and K’bana TV on YouTube.

Any words of wisdom/advice for someone trying to engage in the entertainment industry?

Stay true to yourself. It sounds simple but challenging, and learn your business because it is Music (You) vs. Business (Them). It is your job to be the Ceo of your life.

As always, thank you for being part of our Alumni team. Wishing you much success in your career.
